REMINDER:
The EMHA's Annual Meeting is Thursday, November 15 at 7 PM at the Conference Baptist Church (Hwy 73 & N Turkey Creek Rd). Please attend for the following important reasons:
* Vote for 2012/3 EMHA Board of Directors. If you're new to the neighborhood, interested in getting involved with the EMHA, have suggestions on neighborhood projects, and/or just want to learn more about what we do, please attend the meeting we'd love to meet you!
* You can nominate yourself for the 2012/3 EMHA board by calling 303-991-7699, emailing board@emha.us, or by declaring your interest at the meeting on 11/15. Some current board members have been at it for 5+ years, we are eager for new ideas and new energy so please join us!
* Get an update from each EMHA committee and learn how you can get involved in 2012/3. Active committees include:
- Social events
- Landscape (forestry/fire mitigation/weed mitigation/beautification)
- Covenants and architectural review
- Membership
- Communications (newsletter and alerts)
* If you have a 'pet project' that you would like to lead or recommend for the EMHA in 2012/3, or have general questions or concerns you'd like to share with the community, this meeting is your best opportunity to make yourself known and heard!
* Learn about current EMHA business including:
- final decisions on new neighborhood entrance signs that will be installed soon
- suggested updates to architectural guidelines regarding roofing materials allowed in Evergreen Meadows
- recent 'Adopt-a-Highway' designation on Rt 73 between the Gray Fox entrances
NOTE: A quorum of EMHA members must be present for this meeting to qualify for our Annual Meeting. If you can't attend, please consider emailing the following statement, with your name and address, to the Board at board@emha.us by midnight, Wednesday, 11/14:
"I give my permission (proxy) to the 2011/2 EMHA Board to vote for 2012/3 EMHA Board members."
