From your crime prevention deputy,
Please notify your members that there was a burglary that occurred in the Evergreen Meadows subdivision. That same day a white male, tall with light brown short hair in his 40's or early 50's. He was driving a white pickup truck with no markings or business sign on it went to a nearby resident and was soliciting handyman work. He said he noticed a for sale sign out front and wondered if they needed any work done. It is unknown if that was a story since someone answered the door or if he was knocking on the door to determine if there was anyone home.
This description also fits a male who has scammed people in the Evergreen area while performing handyman work around the home.
